Lioresal is often considered the drug of choice for patients who suffer from moderate to severe muscle spasms. The main component present in this medication is Baclofen. Missing a dose and Overdose

In case a dose is missed, take Lioresal drug as soon as you remember to do so without increasing or doubling the dose, which may be skipped altogether if it is time for the next scheduled dose.

Lioresal overdose symptoms may be drowsiness, dizziness, seizures, troubled breathing, and coma among others. Get emergency medical assistance in case of suspected overdose.

Side effects

Relative Contraindications

Use Lioresal by keeping in mind the important safety information. Women who become pregnant or wish to breast-feed while taking this drug should check with the doctor immediately. Discontinuing this medication suddenly without tapering the dose can result in withdrawal symptoms.

Avoid taking Lioresal drug if you are allergic to the active ingredient Baclofen. Inform the doctor of any existing health conditions like history of illness in the nervous system and any kind of depressive mood disorder.
