Retin A is a vitamin A drug that is indicated for renewing the skin. This skin cream can also be used for treating acne, wrinkles, skin discoloration and rough skin.
How to apply?
Wash the area of application with clean water. Dry it and apply the Retin A cream. Let it stay for one hour before you wash the affected area. The ointment should not come in contact with your nose, eyes or mouth.
Do not use any kind of chemicals or lime based creams in that area. This includes hair remover, coloring agent, cleanser, harsh soap, permanent chemicals, skin product with alcohol or waxes or astringent.
If you are planning to use Retin A without prescription, remember that the skin cream is not recommended for use in all body types.
Do not use this drug if you are pregnant or if you are planning to get pregnant. Lactating mothers should not use this drug as it would harm the child.
Retin A is a topical ointment and should not be ingested. Do not apply on open wound, cracked skin or irritated skin. Do not expose yourself to UV rays in any form.
If your acne or skin condition does not get better within 8 weeks of treatment, you need to stop the drug immediately and talk to your doctor.
Do not increase the time limit. If your skin condition becomes severe after using the ointment, stop the drug and get medical help.
Do not expect Retin A to give result immediately. It would take at least a month to see any considerable change in your skin condition.
